Scientific achievements
- Application of a unique method for the quantitative verification of the Gibbs-Thomson equation in the case of photographic development and based on the classical thermodynamic theory of the formation and growth of a new phase;
- the sharp change in the developability of the latent image centres upon their growth by 1-2 silver atoms was explained for the first time;
- development of an inorganic photoresist with extreme resolution and technology for the production of optical scales, gratings, metal templates, and others
